While having fun and playing they are exploring their world at home and outside of home. With that being said I do like to have rules, guidelines and lots of planned activities. Although some quiet days relaxing are a must. I love playing board games, baking, listening to music, involving kids in meal prep and so much more. My biggest interest and favourite activity is crafts. I also love going for walks and on outings to the library, drop in center, park, mall and so forth. Video games, tv and movies are all good activities, but I believe in getting active and creative. I don't like violence such as toy guns or play fighting. I do believe in lots of laughing, joking around and over all being silly whether playing with cars and trucks or having a tea party with dolls (no matter your kid(s) age or gender). With fun and learning I focus on keeping kids safe, clean and healthy, but things do happen or/and come up which I am understanding of as I hope families would be. Honest, open communication, laughter and fun between parents and kids, parents and child care provider, child care provider and kids and so forth. That is a must :) I know I may go to Church, not smoke (or drink or do drugs), welling to lend a hand to those who need it, etc, but I am not prefect as I am sure you are not either. No one is prefect. Sometimes I may not be able to babysit or you may end up not needing me one day, sometimes kids or each other get sick or hurt, sometimes kids will drive either one of us crazy or they will be super duper well behaved. We must always work as a family and a team. I also love household organizing, doing kids charts/reward systems and have lots of party theme and activity ideas.
